My request is for a new apps from the dev team at portableApps. Since there are some many portableApps available, it seems like there needs to be an app I can install that will then go on and bulk install selected portable apps on new machines rather than having to browse through the site and install them one at a time.

This is a good example of how this can be done. It would be genius if this could somehow be done as a webapp but if not, an app installer would work just fine.

I looked at the website, and I found the idea awesome. That's why Im beggininjg working in a downloader & installer for all official portableapps.com apps, and some dev tests.

The PortableApps.com Updater, which will be built into the upcoming 2.0 version of the Platform, will be able to do that for you (in addition to updating your installed apps). There is a beta version in the forums, but it requires some manual configuration to get working. The next beta will be out in a few days.
