i have seen this game at 2nd grade its gotta little 3d effect in a 2d world not so much has changed

could there be some added capability like able to work in 800 by600 resolution screen and maybe optional size changes?

yes

Atomic Tanks has a command line switch where you can set it to be full screen.
Normally, you should be able to use the ini file inside the /Others/Source folder to add additional parameters. But there are 2 problems at the moment:

  1. The ini doesn't work right. That's my mistake and should be either fixed in a revision or in the next version (if they release it soon enough).
  2. I tried Atomic Tanks with said switch but it didn't display my mouse arrow so I couldnt play it Sad That's a problem I cant do anything about it because its up to the developers of Atanks to fix it. I will tell them about it and hope they get it fixed.

That's it for now.

.

1. Yup, you're right. But it's documented correct in the Readme.txt, so no revision necessary IMHO (and the 4.0 beta is already out). I think you should remove the space from the APPNAME variable (AtomicTanksPortable.nsi, line 26) though.
2.Tested Atomic Tanks with said switch and it crashes here (Win XP SP3):

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: D:\ATanksPortable\App\Atanks\atanks.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

And btw, ATanks could be controlled/played with keyboard only Blum
3.Tested Atomic Tanks with other switches (width, tall, nosound...) and none is working as described in README.txt. Maybe they are linux only ???

4.0 is out

The dev knows about the fullscreen bug but it will be fixed in 4.1. There is a workaround though. I will post it once the portable release is done.
