Pidgin: The f**k?

excuse me kind sirs but i do believe encryption plugins, or at least OTR should be installed by default

tor browser has those plugins pre-installed so why dont cha step ya game up

Most people don't use it... and it's useless unless the person on the other end is using a compatible client with a compatible encryption plugin. We keep the Pidgin Portable install the same as the standard Pidgin install (no additional plugins). If you'd like to suggest it to the Pidgin folks, you're welcome to. But I would suggest leaving off the profanity if you do (you're likely to get a better response).

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Most of the time it's unnecessary

Most people don't need such powerful encryption - for example, when I'm chatting with my buddies about the party last night, I don't give a d..n if someone "listening" it somehow.

For more private conversions, I prefer the real-life meetings.
