There are many old requests out there. I just wanted to be sure (& the requesters) they were being took into account now freeware is legally portabilized here.
*'ed apps are those that i won't use, just for saying i'm not only saying thjis for my own only interest.
Off topic: Just bumped into it...What's the difference between the "em" & the "cite" tags??
M$ products will never happen due to the EULA
Opera has a portable version
http://www.opera-usb.com/
and with version 10 there's only ONE exe so it's easy. just place the Opera directory in your portable app dir like all the other programs and you are good to go. no need to reinvent the wheel

That version really sucks. It's just a batch that redirects the configs files of the app into the app dir. If you change any config thar refeers to the registry, it'll leave it there.
works fine for me. why would you "change any config that refers to the registry"???

K-Meleon is open source.
Microsoft Live Messenger won't be happening.
Flash isn't portable and can't be safely made portable due to its local stored objects (LSOs).
There are development tests of a couple of the others too.

Didin't reme K-Meleon. But it isn't still done, is it?
Well, at last the M$ thingy is cleared. I know they are some DEV tests, just wanted to bring up some more attention to them.
Googled all the apps you asked followed by "portable". I found the following to be portable:
CCleaner: It's on the official site, but NOT for redistribution. (http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds)
Xfire: No official portable releases, but unofficial ones do exist. Google is you friend.
Lego Digital Designer: Google it, but I'm not too sure of there credibility of the results. Most either link to torrents or rapidshare sites.
Rocketdock: Claims to be "completely portable". Someone needs to verify this, though.
Hope this answers your questions,
