Or at least, I think it does...
Whenever I put in my flash drive, it changes to my portable wallpaper, and whenever I go back, it's stuck on the wallpaper it was on when the PortableApps.com platform took over.
It's the only solution I can think of. That, or Windows 7 forgets you have a slideshow set up and randomly stops on one. But then I go into the settings, and it doesn't say I have a slideshow set, just that I have the one it's on.

This was reported some time ago. Something will happen about it... when it happens. I at least don't know how one would fix it...

Well, on the developmental end, the wallpaper swap could be made an app and set to run at startup. (And hidden? Can hidden apps also run at startup?) And when it runs, it prompts. If you're on Windows 7 you say no or lose your slideshow. If you say yes, it works like normal. Not ideal but that's why I said Q&D... quick n' dirty.
Didn't know it was reported before, sorry about that, good to know I'm not the only one though.
I'm not sure what the final solution will be. We'll see.
I searched through the site and couldn't find where it was reported, but I distinctly remember that it was reported... it's possible that it was reported in IRC, but I'm pretty sure it was in the forums somewhere.
