I was wondering if some one could lead me to a portable game creation engine. I found i really love but in it's current state i can't do so because it does not let you choose where to save currently. The software is called Engine 001 but so far this feature does not exsist. So if someone could direct me to one similar that is portable i would be so greatful.

You could use just about anything. I don't see why we can't make Engine 001 game portable (unless it requires .NET).

This engine to create games as it is does not have a feature to save you projects where you want to. You have to save in my documents/001/ it automatically saves there. Plus at my school we have a sub directory for our documents it would be my documents/millerja/001 but it does not do that. So right now in my perspective i don't think it is possible unless you can code it to do that. Which right now i have no idea how to do.

Just asked mike weir one of the creators of engine 001 for permission and he said no. any alternatives?
