memory card - thunderbird

First of all thanks to all making portable apps possible. Revolutionary.

I recentyly bought a IPAQ Rx 1950 and was disappointed I couldn't sync thunderbird, usually on a usb key. I thought I might be able to run thunderbird from the memory card. no luck.

Is their a way to do this or are the operating systems too differerent?

Thanks

Windows Mobile?

If you mean Windows Mobile, then it's an absolute no. Windows Mobile is as different from Windows XP as Palm OS is. It's Windows in name only. No Windows software will run on your Ipaq.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

memory card thunderbird

Thanks for clearing that up. Eventually I want to put linux on the thing but that is another story.....

In the meantime I have ended up synching the address book portion of thunderbird and calendar (sunbird) with finchsync http://www.finchsync.com/index.html

I will be starting a job here next distributing laptops for students here in France but I will be sure to mention portable apps ...

Thanks again
