I love the TeamViewer portable app. It is easy to use, the site is easy to navigate, and it just works. Considering my past experiences with PC Remote Service software, I was surprised how friendly it was. It's the first app I feel like I could give to a friend and tell them how to use it without any problems.
However, there is only one flaw. No linux server.
Now, I could use Wine, but I'd like to avoid that if possible
Considering that it works with the built in Windows Remote Service, is there an app for Linux that can send out a wireless service that TeamViewer can work with? I really dont want to have to go back to looking for a new remote service app.
TeamViewer doesn't use RDP. It connects via the TeamViewer servers using their own method (that's how you can connect two machines whose firewalls would block one another with any other type of connection). There is no Linux client, but you should be able to use it with WINE.
