Hi,
There is an excellent freeware CD ripper app available here:

It is special because it rips CDs directly to MP3, WMA and OGG formats, both fixed and VARIABLE bitrates. Variable bitrate WMA rippers are really rare on the market.
Would be possible for someone to "portabilize" it?
Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Yes, I know that, but it won't support variable bitrate WMA. In fact it won't support WMA at all.

I tried, it won't encode variable rate WMA.
I think this would be better posted in the Request Apps forum.
Thanks for the suggestion, I posted the app there, hopefully someone will make it portable.
