Actually, I did

It's on the contact page and the support page at the very top in an outlined box. And I updated the forum thread on the false positive which is stickied at the top of the General forum. I did all this last night at about 1am.

How is it that no matter how I try and publicize antivirus issues (big outlined boxes and stickies), everyone seems to miss it? I've done just about everything short of take the site down and say "READ THIS DAMNED NOTICE".

Incidentally, the Kaspersky definitions were updated last night to fix the issue.

Yes. I've got the same problem, but only with the actuall versions of Firefox 1.5 and the Firtefox 2 beta. Why is it so? - WinXP SP2

But my second problem is that my old version doesn't work properly anymore, so I need a new one.

With the updated Kapersky Virus-definitions?

Sorry, but I've got also an other information. The updated version of Firefox 1.5 has no problem with kapersky, only the new downloaded versions. How can it be like this?

I get false positives with

I get false positives with multiple virus scanners.

Most pop on the version of the launcher that came with Firefox Portable 1.5.0.3 (which is unfortunate, that version exhibits odd behavior that I like.) It allows you to open multiple copies of each profile, which, I can't seem to get recent versions to duplicate.

Notice

Please read the notice right at the top of the support or contact pages to see the affected virus scanners. There is no need to further comment in the forums unless there is an A/V I'm missing.
