A proper application like DMailer evaluation copy comming bundled with the operating system.

I would like to have DMailer evaluation copy comming bundled with the operating system by default. Leave the decision of buying the paid version on the customer. The application DMailer is nice piece of software which allows you to sync and backup your settings and file from your computer under a profile and then you can have all your files with you whereever you go in the usb drive and all you need is a computer to work on thus saving you from carrying a laptop arround.

This softare comes bundled with the Sandisk version of U3 launchpad portable OS.

The Dmailer software can be downladed from this link.

Which OS?

Dmailer comes bundled (trial copy) as standard with U3 Launchpad Portable OS by Sandisk.

aha!

So far I have not heard of any OS called Launchpad, but of a windows software called Launchpad.
Can you tell us more about the operating system called Launchpad?

And the software you are referring to is payware not open source? Hmm, this might not be right place to ask here I think, they are all involved in open source software only here.

BTW: better try to remove the link from your signature, the guys here do not like weblinks in signatures.

Not an OS

U3 and PortableApps.com are not operating systems; they run inside Windows, that's all.

I very strongly doubt that you will be able to get this software bundled. Calling it a "proper" application is not really very fair; it's only a trial version. There's really no reason why it would be included with the platform by default, seeing as we have good open-source software which works just as well as commercial alternatives (even if we don't have something which does exactly what DMailer does), and it would just make a larger download for very little advantage - a trial only.

I Agree

I also think one of Dmailer's products should be preloaded onto the Portable apps launchpad. Its great software that may people do not know about. I know its not free but is open source software always the best choice, especialy considering there is no other synchronization software in the Portable apps suite.

No sync software?

Surely you jest!

There are at least three softwares currently officially released at PortableApps.com that syncronize.

  • Toucan
  • FreeFileSync
  • FreeCommander

I think it's interesting that william11 registered only one day ago and then goes and makes comments about software being added to the PortableApps suite.
