I'm using tbird at work.I cannot access my new mail. I get the error message cannot connect to earthlink. I'm on a T1 ATT connection with XP Professional SP2.The default mail app is Outlook. Is there a way to configure the app to work?

Most likely, your office network is blocking your connection. If Earthlink makes available an alternate port or a secured port, you may be able to use those (you'll need to get details from them). Otherwise, you simply can't check your personal email at work with any mail client portable or not.
