Hi Folks
A coworker turned me on to Portable Apps over a year ago, and I think it's the best thing since sliced bread.
I've been using it on a USB + NAS drives and have turned others on to it's benefits and ease of use.
Great stuff, Thanks.
I have a question.
Is there, or is it possible to create, a "download picker" application (or add this function to the download page) which is a GUI with radio buttons (or something similar) which allows you to pick the apps you want in one "shopping list" and download them based on that list?
I've downloaded thru the suite page and other apps discretely, and because of my wide interest, I end up flipping thru multiple pages, with multiple discrete downloads, which by the time I think I'm done, I've forgotten one or two apps and have to go back and grab them them, usually the next day.
I know it's a small nitpicking request, and is solely based on my laziness, and I apologize for that.
Cheers
hc
John said that the PA.c Updater will have this mass-download functionality (though I'm not really sure when it'll come out; he got the flu a [couple?] week ago so it may be a while...).
Until then, DownThemAll! (FFX Extension) is about as close as you'll get to the stars :).

Cool,
thanks for the reply, I'll do as you say and download them all.
I wait with worm on tongue for the mass download function.
John,
Get well, stay well, take care.
This flu thing sucks, it knocked me out for nearly two weeks, I feel for ya man.
cheers

I use DownThemAll! and have for some time. It's really a great tool - especially if your internet is slow.
