I'm using firefox portable 3.5.6.
When I install the coooliris addon, when I use it to watch videos on youtube, hulu, the addon says I need the flash player installede on my computer.
I do have the plugin in the ..\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins directory.
So,how does this happen? And how can I solve it?
thanks.
Cooliris is a non-standard extension that expects Flash on the local PC (the one in Firefox itself isn't enough). So you have to ask them to fix their issue.
I don't think Cooliris has *ever* been portable, by the way.

I seem to remember it worked when it was still "PicLens".Maybe I had a memory.
Thanks.
Seems like, for now, it would have to require Flash be installed locally.
But I wonder, all Firefox extensions are by nature, open source (even if they aren't licensed as such, but I think they're required to by AMO, not sure though), maybe it wouldn't be hard to search for the flash plugin's filename in the source and redirect it to the portable one. If you can use relative paths you don't have to worry about the drive letter, I don't think. Extensions aren't even compiled, it's just javascript (right?) in a zip file renamed to .xpi. So rename the .xpi to .zip, open 'er up, and look for the main file, see what you can make of it. I've poked around in a couple extensions, never tried to do anything with them, though.
Cooliris leaves some files in the AppData folder (for me its "C:\Users\Benedikt\AppData\Local\Cooliris"), it may need them to run.
For me the content looks like profiles or a database.
