Hello my friends!!!
How many apps here on http://portableapps.com
are free for commercial use???
I know the opensource are ok for com. use (like gimp,7zip,filezilla, etc)
but what about apps like XnView ??
XnView is free but not open source right???
so it will be legal to have it to the PC of my small company office?
you would have to check out the license for each app. I think XnView is not free for commercial use, TeamViewer is not, and im not sure about the others.

depends if you are using them commercially or not. If your using them for your own purpose at work, then that's fine (though maybe not with work ;))
If its for commercial use on the company computers, then you have slight problem.

are safe to use!!
what about toucan??
this is hard to find
Anything open source will be ok to use commercially, including Toucan...it's only the freeware apps that are questionable. On the Applications page at this site, just do a Ctrl+F for "Freeware" and you'll find them.

thank you very much!!!
it is a bit tricky because there are many different kinds of licenses!
I searching them right now one by one ...
I may print them as well to be able to prove it if needed!

Also with
Chrome
icoFX
should be no problem! (i think)

about
xnview
**It is free of charge for private non-commercial, educational use and non-profit**
utorrent
**license to use µTorrent, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes**
for utorrent maybe the "License type" in this page
https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/utorrent_portable
should be changed from "Freeware" to "Non-commercial Freeware" (like xnview is)????
No. Anything freeware is not.
Chrome and IcoFX are freeware.
