So I use uTorrent 24/7
I have ~456 torrents seeding and now uTorrent is randomly losing files...
Error: The system can not find the path specified. BUT the files are there! When I try to open containing folder it says it doesn't exist but I can browse to in in explorer... I try force rechecking it and it says 0.0% but if I change the download location to an absolute instead of relative and force recheck it will work fine with no more problems.... Everytime I complete a new download another torrent comes up missing it seems.....
Any help?
Also it's not very portable.... whenever I put the flash disk on another computer the drive letter changes and then all the torrents are unable to find there files....but I rarely move it... but I wish it worked

If the file is deeply nested within subfolders, you will be able to see the file but not perform operations on it. Outside of uTorrent, try right-clicking the file and see if the context menu looks strange. Try to open or move the files.
The solution is to take the extremely long folder name that is causing the path to be too long and reducing that to one letter. Then point uTorrent at it and see if that doesn't fix the problem.
Sounds like the issue with relative paths I had a while back with uTorrent. It seems uTorrent doesn't like relative paths, because it's relative to the current directory (which can change over the course of execution depending on what the app does), rather than uTorrent's directory.
@crux: He specifically stated that when he changed the location to an absolute path (as opposed to relative), it worked. This leads me to believe he's using the same folder, just with an absolute path. And anyway, if the path were too long, Explorer wouldn't open it either.

When I create a torrent it will lose multiple torrent locations...... This sounds very true
I am running the beta uTorrent launcher that was released before the offical PA app had been... running uTorrent 1.8.4... If it matters?
Relative paths are hopelessly broken in uTorrent currently. I found this on the uT forums:

I should just change the default save directory to absolute paths? and change all the torrents to the same?
It looks like that's the only way to fix it for now.
If you have admin privileges on all the machines you use, you could just change the drive letter to be the same on all of them (preferably M: or something to avoid collisions): Right-click My Computer, hit Manage, go to Disk Management, then right-click your drive to get the option to change the letter.
If you don't have admin privileges, you may still be able to use subst at the commandline:
