Hiding Icons

When I "Refresh App Icons" from the "Options" menu, it scans and makes icons for all the *.com and *.exe executables in the "PortableApps" directory tree. Not all of them are primary applications and should not be listed on the menu.

How can I eliminate the icons for files that should not be displayed?

Is there a configuration or INI file I can edit?

[Edit below]
I just found the "Hide Icon" instructions in the support section. While that will hide the icons, if the "Hidden" section of the INI is edited to delete the list, will the icons re-appear?

Thanks!
from Tennessee.

There's a PortableApps.com

There's a PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 in beta. It allows you to hide and unhide from the GUI.

So far there's been no problems or bugs with this release.

In the future, could you try to be more specific with your topic? Thanks Smile

Show Hidden Icons

You can also toggle Show Hidden Icons in the right-click menu to see everything you've hidden and then unhide anything you want to see again.

Really?

Huh. For some reason I thought 1.5.2 had the "Show hidden icons" option, too. I guess I've been using 2.0b3 so long that I've forgotten which features are new! Blum

lol 1.5.2 is completely ini

lol Blum

1.5.2 is completely ini configured. I just remember John adding the context menu in 1.6, which was never official released.
