Look at PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable\Other\Source\Readme.txt and the ThunderbirdPortable.ini file found in the same folder. (You can open them with notepad, but please don't use a word processing program.)
The splash screen jpg is compiled/built into the Launcher exe so it cant be easily replaced.
You would have to change the jpg and then recompile the Launcher (its written in NSIS).
You can find the compiler here under Applications-Development.

Thanks! Yes, it would be difficult i think. But i found the solution. There is an extension for thunderbird and firefox, it calls: splash (http://www.mrtech.com/extensions/splash.xpi), it let you use custom splash screen so after that the only thing to do is set disable the displayscreen in the portable .ini file. Thats all! btw thank you!:)
the Readme.txt in \ThunderbirdPortable\Other\Source.
You have to use the ini file from that folder and set "DisableSplashScreen=" to true.
And welcome here
