Suggestion: Add "Install PAP launcher"

Hi, I just wanted to propose a small suggestion for the Portable Apps Menu. On the U3 Launchpad, the settings has a option to "Install Launcher". This is a small program that when a U3 drive is detected to open it for computers that the Launchpad dosen't work right with the computer. This would be useful for Windows 7 Users (Like me). Another solution would be to make a CDFS Partition but the Launcher would be easier I'm guessing. This is the only reason I stick with the U3 Launchpad. I still use PortableApps.com Apps. I would prefer to use the PApps menu or CodySafe menu.

P.S. Do you think we could also have the option to start apps with arguments? This is the only reason why I would use CodySafe. (It still intergrates PortableApps Apps fine into the menu).

Thanks Smile

RJ

PortableApps.com AutoRun/AutoPlay

Take a look at John's PortableApps.com AutoRun/AutoPlay Test 0.1. It does exactly what you want.

Why respond to a week-old,

Why respond to a week-old, already answered question with a tool that is inferior to what previously has been suggested, and is no longer maintained? Don't post just for the sake of posting gluxon, try to think more carefully about whether you are adding something useful to a discussion before posting.

I didn't realize it was that

I didn't realize it was that old.
It was still pretty high on the list when I saw it.

His original request was that PortableApps.com should be able to have a fake CD partition to autorun. John's autoplay app only works on computers it's been installed on.
