Development Test 1 (2010-02-02):
Initial release
I need somebody with an "edgy" antivirus program (the kind that tends to jump on a lot of programs, even benign ones) to check on this. Before I started portabilizing this, I ran it in Sandboxie; there were a lot of Registry keys changed, and I wasn't too happy about some of them (including Internet zone keys and Internet proxy keys).
While this is probably benign, and perhaps even normal OS operation, I haven't seen another app do this kind of thing; I scanned XN with my AV (Microsoft Forefront Client Security) and it came out clean, but I want a second check and a third one too, if possible, just to be sure.
"The question I would like to know, is the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. All we know about it is that the Answer is Forty-two, which is a little aggravating."
IT probably is, but, do you know about virus total and jotti?
Too many lonely hearts in the real world
Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world
you know, there is a Pre-Release. But it has been dropped due to bugs in the non-portable version. See this comment
This is what I get for not searching first.
So... should I take this one down?
