Shortcut key (Windows P) has gone, how to get it back?

Hi there,
the previous version could get the menu shown when you pressed Windows key and P. The new version does not respond to that, I can't recall if this is something you can create yourself or is part and parcel of the platform? Does anyone knows how to restore this?
Thanks

It was removed because

It was removed because remapping Win+[key] isn't allowed in Windows 7, which is really only fair given that the key, when it was introduced, was meant to be used only for operating system functions in the first place (hence why it's a Windows logo ;)). Win+[modifier]+[key] is allowed, though, and that's what the Platform uses now.

To make a long story short, the new shortcut to open the PA.c menu is Win+Alt+Space. Honestly I would have preferred Win+Shift+Space, but yeah.

thanks for that

Thanks for your reply,
something new to get used to, but I do like to have a short cut key-press to get the menu up. My minimized icons keep swapping place therefore its much easier to use.

win+shift+space

Win-Shift-Space is used by Launchy and we didn't want to collide with it Smile

Ah

That makes sense. On a somewhat related note, the keyboard shortcut is basically useless anyway, since you can't control the menu with the keyboard once it's open. Contrary to every other menu design out there, the arrow keys in PAP just scroll the view, rather than changing the selection. This makes it impossible to launch an app without using the mouse.

Delphi

It's a Delphi shortcoming with the buitin controls. The custom ones I added are only have done but will have keyboard support soon.
