Add description

You should add a dedcription at this page. So nobody who didn't already use the tool knows what it is.

Do it somehow like here: https://portableapps.com/node/21754
Add a link, a brief description , maybe a category.

I'll test your app when I get the time (tomorrow?)

[NOTE] Check your files for viruses, there are two files in the App\XMLCopyEditor\bin\ folder reported to me being a trojan.

Possible False Positive

Your AV is probably biting on the fact that the files in bin are compressed with UPX. I have Microsoft Forefront Client Security, and it didn't find anything harmful.

EDIT: hmm, maybe there is something funny going on. Most of the flagging was due to packing, but McAfee isn't liking this, at all.
Draw your own conclusions; I'm only posting the VirusTotal results.

doc2xml.exe: 4/40 scanners flagged at VirusTotal. http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/f8a4b10bb3f7f2f42cb9c6396b78b15de35a3...

navigate.exe: 4/40 scanners flagged at VirusTotal. https://www.virustotal.com/analisis/f0ef14e078c0f32abb6879abe941a46130c2...

xml2doc.exe: 4/38 scanners flagged at VirusTotal (something apparently broke in the other two scanners?). https://www.virustotal.com/analisis/6a6ec20b1a986d68afd483c0f721e219c017...

...

Looking at those VirusTotal results, those all look like generic detections (i.e. false positives). One of those even has "Heur" as part of the detection, indicating that it set off flags in the heuristics, but didn't actually match a virus definition. I'm guessing the other three are heuristic detections, too.

Edit: Looking at the VirusTotal page again, I notice there's a section in the info saying it was processed with "Yoda's Crypter". Having looked said program up, it appears to be a tool to encrypt EXEs to prevent decompilation and debugging. Seems fishy to me--why would you do that to binaries for an open-source app when the source is freely available? I would guess the encrypter is what's setting off the virus warnings.

I am not sure why it would

I am not sure why it would report it as a virus. I included the EXEs from the latest official release. I have used this program before without a problem so I imagine it is a false positive.

Ill put up a description real quick.

I do not find anything from

I do not find anything from the virus.
However, the tool itself is rather senseless,
to me it does not help editing xml-files
better than a simple editor.

How to compile several SMS/phone log XML files...

I'm looking to cobble together/integrate the XML files of several SMS and phone log database backups that I have, going back to 2016 or so.
Sadly, in that time I've experienced 2-3 episodes of unintentionally "bricking" (hard resetting) my Android smartphone, and have thus lost the original phone and text logs that once existed.

So what I'd like to do is to take these various backup XML files for each, and compile them into one *comprehensive* text and phone log, respectively, so as to not omit/delete ANY of the calls/texts that are contained in the respective backups.

In short, I'd like to use some program that could group 'em all together into one COMPREHENSIVE text and call log file(s), respectively, so I could have a current record of all the calls and texts that MANAGED to survive these reset episodes courtesy of my backup XML files.

Will THIS program do this for me, and if so, how do I proceed?
And if not, what program if any DO y'all recommend that might be able to do this for me?...

Thx in advance for any help y'all can give me in pursuit of this goal.
