hey i was wondering if anybody thought of the idea of having auto cad for portable apps
You are here
auto cad
Closed source and not freeware.
AutoCAD LT is a version of AutoCAD with more limited capabilities. It costs less (approx. US$1200 versus around US$4,000 for the full AutoCAD) (source Wikipedia)
This might be a better option.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QCAD
qcad sucks. Its even more limited then autocadlt. I tried it out in linux, and then uninstalled it.
Yup, but we can't get over the green wall made from the over 4,000 $ MSRP.
I wish it could happen, but I doubt that it will.
I haven't checked these out, other than to find them, but here are two open source CAD programs you could look into:
I know it is not quite advanced as true autocad, but for portable operation it could be useful.

the current versions of autocad need to be activated and this will be verifyed each time new hardware detected and it will search try to search in the network for same license present in operation, well not really simple for portabilizing.
Estoy con ustedes, pero cualquier programa similar que se use tendria que usar un pen drive de buena capacidad tal vez no menor de 8gb o superior, podria estar equivocado 8) 8-)
english please?
Just did a quick online translation for you. You might want to bookmark their website, as it comes in very handy
Estoy con ustedes, pero cualquier programa similar que se use tendria que usar un pen drive de buena capacidad tal vez no menor de 8gb o superior, podria estar equivocado
translates into:
I am with you, but any similar program that is used would have to use one pen drive of good capacity perhaps not minor of 8gb or Superior, it might be wrong
Here's an English translation, somewhat "smoothed" as always:
I agree with you, but any similar program would require a pen drive with good capacity, 8 GB or more, but I could be wrong.
my point is this is a english based site with a german based support channel.
I live in So Cali so i know how to decypher some spanish.
