if you mean in general if those apps provided viea this website for download, then those are windows applications mostly. Ipod is apple product and therefore not windows compatible.
You can put a fat file system on any IPod and use it on any windows machine with ITunes. And if you enable disk mode, it shows as a removable drive and can be use with PortableApps.

I mean, there are apps that have similar features than those offered here, and the ipod itself is portable...
There a LOADS of apps, some really good, some not so...and they can be applied in various way similar to PA does...
There's even canabalt, an app from PA...but it is paid...and I'm cheap...

I thought there was no disk mode for the iPod Touch 2G?
You are right. I have an older nano and there it has a disk mode.
So I guess you cant run PortableApps on your IPod touch then.

Just enable disk mode and you can install it.
(BTW when they say you can install it on an iPod, they mean you can run it off an iPod, not on an iPod.)
