When i try to install Google Chrome it gives me an error part way thru the install that says "The Downloaded copy of Google Chrome is not valid and cannot be installed". I have tried re downloading it multiple times but i get the same message every install. Can anyone help?

Really?! Nobody else has noticed this problem, i am the only one in the entire world?!
You're probably blocked from downloading it where you are... either blocked by Google (for living in a blacklisted country: Iran, North Korea, Syria, Sudan and Cuba), or blocked by your local network (most offices and many schools block downloads of Google Chrome's installer). So it's just downloading the web page that says it is blocked. The installer currently gets confused by this but will have a fix in an upcoming release to properly show the error.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I had the same problem attempt to use it from a computer at my work. I work at a university.
That makes sense except i have been able to download other apps besides google chrome and they all worked just fine. I'll check tonight at home and see if it works.
Ok i've tried from multiple computers now and still get the same problem, and i don't live in a backlisted country, im in the US, and i have tried from my home computer where nothing is blocked. Anymore ideas?
