Hi!
I am writing this in general forum because I couldn't find one for DOSBox Portable.
Here is a problem that I have discovered. I am trying to play Amulets and Armor using DOSBox Portable, and there is no sound.
When I use DOSBox directly (Apps\DOSBox\dosbox.exe), there is sound.
In both cases, SoundBlaster is detected.
This happens with Amulets and Armor, but not with many other games (like Tyrant, PC-MAN, Alley Cat etc.)
Kindly ask if any more information is needed, since I am a newbie...

This might be a configuration issue. Take a look at the files ..\DOSBoxPortable\Data\settings\dosbox.conf and %APPDATA%\DOSBox\dosbox-0.73.conf - they should be differ. In this case, simply copy the dosbox-0.73.conf file to dosbox.conf.
Or, you could simply try to delete the ..\DOSBoxPortable\Data\settings\dosbox.conf file and check the sound.
Thanks... I found the problem.
Many months ago, I added nosound=true in my dosbox.conf and totally forgot about it.
I didn't even look at that sections.
