localstore file [solved]

It looks like my portable firefox is getting settings from the localstore on hard drive.
The effect is that whenever I plug my key in a PC with a fix version, I get the local user settings...

how can I change this ?

Is there any way to configure them so that they don't intefere with eachother ?

Ok I'm a looser ...

Ok I'm a looser ...
As I have installed Pstart on my key, there was only one thing I could do to mess the whole thing up, and that is to launch firefox and not portable firefox from the pstart pannel ...

Well this problem solved I come up to a new one ...

Portable firefox does not want to connect to the web at my office...
I thought it would automatiaclly detect connection settings ?
do I have to change te connection setting each time ?

Proxies

Most likely, work has a proxy. You need to configure FF to do that. This will help:

Yes there is a proxy at work. I just don't know why I did not mention it ...

The switch proxy extension suits me fine. Thanks a bunch !

The second link to 'get proxy' utility seems to be broken
I managed to get the proxy information form my browser setting to configure switch proxy...

Everything seem to be running fine now !

Thanks again!

Proxy Get

It's not broken. It's an EXE download. Which your work is probably blocking.
