I guess it could be possible to make a launcher, without packaging the application with it for legal reason. Even if it is a freeware, it is not open-source and SourceForge wouldn't allow to store the full package.

I have on my stick a pdf2word from http://www.somepdf.com/
It is not very luxury, not very good either, but it works on its own on stick, just small exe.
Will work ok for simpler documents, is clearly not useful for complex documents with complex tables and lot of special formating.

Actually seldom desktop PDF to Word Converters are free to all users. This is totally a free one.
And recently I notice that AnyBizSoft Studio announce PDF to Word Converter is free until March 1,2010.This is the best free software I have ever seen.It embodies entile functions that billing software provides, such as batch,partial conversion. The program supports encrypted PDF converison also.The conversion quality is superb.All the text,layouts,text hyperlinks and graphics are preserved perfectly.

There are many PDF to Word Converters on the market,but it is important to choose a good one to convert our pdf documents to other format,i used a lot of version,and felt not very good.last week,I downloaded a program called Advanced pdf to word 5.0. It's pretty good in preserving the formatting. It also allow us to convert a lot files at the same time.I am quite satisfied with it.
