GimpShop Portable?

I know you offer Gimp Portable here, but there is also a version of Gimp out there called GimpShop. It emulates PhotoShop. Is there a chance that version could be made into a portable app?

I used it a while back on my machine at home, and it works great, although can be a little unstable at times. Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there.

Welcome / Search First

Welcome to PortableApps.com. It's a good idea to search before asking about an app. GIMPShop has been covered many times:
https://portableapps.com/search/node/gimpshop

Basically, the Windows port of GIMPShop appears to have been abandonded. It's 5 releases behind GIMP. And the last release is barely functional (it crashes when first attempting to draw on a blank canvas on all 4 of my test machines... under XP and 2000). So, there's no way I'd release it as an app in any way associated with this site until all of that were fixed.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thanks John, I'll make sure

Thanks John, I'll make sure to do a search next time. It's too bad they've abandoned that app; I think a concept like that has a lot of potential. A high-end OS graphics editor that competes with PhotoShop.

And on another note, thanks for making these portable apps available. My computer life has become much more efficient just by using the programs from this site.
