That's what I see in the bullets menu. When exporting to PDF bullets are shown as squares, even if they appear differently in Writer. Even the simple ones like:

3.1 portable seems to work fine here. edit: works fine in 3.2.0 non-portable as well.

I'd wager this is due to the fonts issue discussed elsewhere with OO.o 3.2 Portable. It'll be resolved in Revision 2 this week.
