- Comodo distribute CIS (Firewall, Anti-virus, HIPS, Defense+, and more) in one product (optional you can install only antivirus though)
- Comodo is not open-souce,
but freeware.
- If someone of our devs take permition to portabilize from Comodo,
the chance will be much bigger (paf.exe)
- otherwise, you can use
A-Squared Free, Spybot, ClamWin
Comodo writes to the registry like a mad man making monkey money in morroco. even if it was FOSS it would be one of the hardest things getting it to be portable. even if they did give permission it would be nearly impossible to make portable in launcher for or whatnot. Also As the above post states Comodo comes in a Internet Security Suite. so that means you get a firewall. firewalls are not portable by default due to how they work.
