Microsoft Update just installed KB980182, a security update for IE. Upon reboot, my Portable Firefox could no longer connect to anything on the Internet. ("Firefox can't establish a connection to the server...") No Firefox settings were changed. Other browsers I have installed locally (IE, Opera) work fine.
Anyone else having this problem?

I just applied it and can fire up Firefox Portable 3.6.2 without issue on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 box.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I'm using XP SP3.
I tried downloading Firefox Portable 3.6.2 and reinstalling over the top of the previous installation, but there was no improvement.
I'll see if I can replicate the problem on my home machine this evening.

Thanks for the feedback. The confirmation that the problem was just my machine was helpful...I did a spot of serious system maintenance and it's fixed now..
