Is there a way to update the defontion files from PC? Every time I try it sayes somthin like....... cant write to D:\ yada yada yada

You need to update the definitions BEFORE you burn it to a CD. CDs are read-only, so you can't update anything on it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
You have a CD-RW.
But most people don't unfortunately.

I have CD-RW, but another computer I use doesn't.

A CD-RW, you must have a CD Burner on both.
Otherwise, use live mode on the one that doesn't and normal on the one that does.
