Release Notes:
Development Test 1 (2010-04-07): Initial release
Note :
I'm the creator of Pool Rebel - this is a legal distribution and the files are digitally signed.
Can you clarify in the original post that you are the creator of Pool Rebel otherwise users will think it's an illegal modified re-distribution of the game. Thank you for developing this PAF version

Done - Cheers, Nikos.
Works without issue in XP SP3.
Can I suggest integrating more rule sets into the game? For instance have International Rules Eightball, Nineball and Snooker all playable. Thanks for the game

Does this mean it edits the Reg and doesn't remove them after use?
I really like this game, its great but I want it to be fully stealthly (or whatever the proper term is for not editing or saving anything on the computer and just use the USB)
I would like to see this in the main portable apps page with the rest of the games
Its always easier when you know how.
The game doesn't touch the registry at all (read or write)
I'm pretty sure the registry updates are the result of windows APIs internally accessing the registry.
The only files modified by the game are: System.dat and Player.dat. System.dat is an xml file that stores the settings and Player.dat is a text file that stores the player history.
Cheers,
Nikos.
After playing the game a bit more I did find that you have more rule options available including the one I know (from the World Eightball Pool Federation) which is great
I think there needs to be an easier way to access the main menu from the game screen. I can't work out to do this.
Other request is to make it an option to play full screen or to scale the game window.
Once again thanks for the game

Hi,
thanks for the feedback.
To access the main menu: open the in-game menu & select 'Abort'.
But I'll probably add a main menu shortcut as you suggested.
You can actually resize the window and the contents will scale/rotate to fit.
Cheers,
Nikos.
I like the interface when you increase the screen size. But enabling the maximise button would be better.
How to access the in-game menu?
EDIT:
One more quick request is the option change the ball set. I found that in many countries they use the red and yellow ball set for WEPF rules but in Australia and I'm sure other places we use the coloured and numbered solids and stripes ball set. Cheers:)

Two reasons the maximized button is disabled:
- the actual content scales up to about 800x800
- there is no h/w acceleration and having a full screen window will lead to an unnecessarily high CPU utilization.
To display the In-Game menu:
On the bottom-right, above the 'shoot' button click on the button with '...' to display the in-game menu.
Cheers,
Nikos.
Now I will never get any work done...I love this game

Me too!!! Should definately go with all other official PApps!!
I've been looking for a good quality pool game (although I would prefer snooker - hint hint, lol), and this one I believe is the best. It also allows keyboard control which is excellent.
I got the ol'404 not found error when I clicked on the download link. D:
