I copy POO to USB stick.
If I start “portableOpenOffice.exe” always came this message.
"soffice.exe was not found. Please check your configuration "
What is wrong?

I am actually having a similar problem... I just went out and bought a new USB stick so that I could have OOO portably, and now it seems that when I try to run OOO it says
"soffice.exe was not found. Please check your configuration"
and then the whole drive becomes unreadable by my laptop.
Any ideas?

Yes, this was with the latest version. I downgraded to the version 2.0 and it works fine. Both versions Portable OpenOffice and OpenOffice Portable run from my computer just fine though, which is strange.
Reformatting the drive and trying again. If that doesn't work, I'd take it back.
