Does PortableApps already have an official web badge or "antipixel"? (I don't see one on the "press room" page).
I created one just for kicks and wondered if it would be okay to use it, say on my website for example?
I just uploaded an alternate version.
Yours looks good though, it'd be cool to have that as our badge
I could have sworn there were web badges here before. Never heard the term "Antipixel" but following the link on Wikipedia, that just seems to be the ironic name of the blog. Ironic because "anti-" usually means "against", and for small images that seem to be put together pixel by pixel... "web badge" seems more appropriate.
Anyway, I thought I'd seen them before.
Thanks for the comments.
Thought I'd seen one too at some point but perhaps I dreamt it. Anyway, I have no objections to people using them, as long as John doesn't. I can't see promoting PA.c as a bad thing.
I'v seen them somewhere before also. Could this tread be turned into a banner page tread?

Nice!
I have this one:

I have it blocked out so I can change the text, let me know if I should make some others with diff text.

This is either hilariously satirical or you linked to the wrong image.
As he says, it's currently blocked - also note the URL that you end up at.
I am a Christian and a developer and moderator here.

I didn't think he implied the image is blocked, I read that as "I have the image saved in a format such that the text is separate from the image, and thus it can easily be changed.". Either way, the fail pic is amusing.
meant the text

Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world
Now I see it! Nice.
Perhaps this thread should be a collection of "fan art" for want of a better term.
There's to many rambling comments for one
(meant as a joke)
The fan art thing is something John has been promising for awhile.
It'd be nice to have a wikified page with a moderator or two, but I don't know as drupal can do it without addons and I think John loathes using additional addons on the site.

Fan art on FB should be easy peasy.
I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
I refuse to use facebook. A deviant art page would be more appropriate, as well as being better suited.

nope, I linked to the correct image. nope, I'm not making a joke. I open it in a new tab and its fine.
What are you guys doing? I've setup the .htaccess to block the image when viewed from other sites, but if I open it in a new tab, its fine.
Here, you can view it (its the last one before the wierd guy from irc one) here, and not have it blocked http://patrickpatience.com/nascent-project/oliverkrystal/userbars/

I didn't do anything special, I just clicked the link (left mouse button) which I believe doesn't open in a new tab. However, opening in a new tab, new window or same window shouldn't make any difference as to how the web data is requested and sent.
However, now that I've actually browsed your directory and found the right image, now it works and I no longer get the fail pic. Sounds like some kind of odd caching issue either local or remote.
its the .htaccess. I've configured it so people would have to put it on their own hosting instead of scamming pactrick's bandwidth.
Its called hotlink protection I believe
