Can anyone tell me how long this road is?

Will we see 2.0 any time soon ie:- the next couple of weeks Smile

And it will be released as soon as it is finished.

Please remember that this is an open source project, run in people's free time (particularly John T. Haller's), so it is generally not possible to give firm and accurate deadlines and schedules as you might find in commercial programming projects.

Thanks for the link. I've been running the 2.0 betas and find them very stable with welcome changes and additions. Progress is looking very good.

Realistically,

no one here apart from John (and maybe Chris) knows when the menu will be released, all we can do is speculate. I have been a member of this site for nearly 4.5 years now, I have written and released a piece of software here with over 800,000 downloads, I moderate the forums and I represented us at FOSDEM 2010, probably the largest open source meetup in Europe and I don't have a clue when it'll come out! It'll be good when it is, but really, who knows Smile
