I don't want to look myself if there are new versions of portable-app-software is available. Can the PortableApps.com application look for this automaticly and download and install them instantly?

First, I dont think lots of users want PortableApps.com to "look" on their flash drives and see what Apps they have. We, the users, have to do something.
Besides that, there is an updater being built into the next version (2.0) of the platform to greatly facilitate the updating process. You launch the updater with a few clicks and it'll launch the updates.

Okay, I would be lucky if there is an program, which downloads an informs me about new versions. I have the PA-2.0-application on my local hard drive installed. But how I can check for updates? Where I can find the updater?
The updater is coming in the 2.0 platform and will be in the next 2.0 Beta release shortly.
