Discontinued: This version of Midori Portable has been discontinued, however you can find the latest version of the browser over here.
Application: Midori
Category: Internet
Description: Midori is a lightweight browser with tons of speed and support for tabbed browsing and customizable bookmarks and a bunch of other good stuff. It doesn't write to the registry and has all its data in a little folder. Firefox users will almost certainly be able to get used to it in a snap.

Known Bugs
Settings may or may not work as you change users/computers. I still don't know why, but I think this may be due to the fact that it saves settings in %LOCALAPPDATA%. I also recommend that if your updating, to do just a clean install (don't install it over). This version of Midori handles settings a bit differently.
Hello
Thanks for sharing; is a very good browser, fast and light, I tested on windws xp and windows 7; but apparently it does not use cache, or it is not activated ?, I do not understand.
Thanks
Sorry for my English
and I found out that it does store web cache. I did a test run to try to find out where it was, I see its in %TEMP%. However, when Midori closes, the 4 files it creates are deleted.
There seems to be a code problem. The code works fine, but it is the fact that when i look in the script it has
May the Shwartz be with you
I used my trillian astra portable launcher as a template to quickly code the launcher. It seems like I forgot to fix change the name.
Its really only going to cause problems if you have a locally installed version of Midori on the host PC. I'll fix this bug in Dev Test 2.
Thanks for telling me!
It wont completely break portability, that is the same for all the places it needs to be. I only see it being a problem when your running Trillian at the same time.

The icon for the launcher has been changed but the one shown on the menu is still the white background one.

the one on the menu is reading it from app/appinfo. I didn't use that icon because in tests for some reason, the background was black. So I figured I'd keep the white background version, the icon in the error messages that pops up (like if your already running midori) are transparent though.
I'll try to make a transparent one from the white background-ed one.
Applying transparency to an existing icon file.
See release notes for changes.
I'm intrigued by this. I'll play with it.
Edit: It'd be nice to mention the version, and maybe the fact that it uses the webkit rendering engine. That's all for now

Are you continuing development of this app, or can another developer take over?
I completely forgot about this app.
I'll gladly hand this app over to him.
