(MD5: dd5eae0b1dabcde47f7608ef19940ee8)

Release Notes:

4.6 Dev Test 1(June 11 2010)

  • Updated to the latest 4.6
  • It is using the latest PAL and now copies files around instead of using an APPDATA redirect so please give it a good round of testing!

I only tested it in Win XP SP3 limited account. But I think it'll work elsewhere too Smile

Thanks Patrick for hosting it.

John: The only thing that is missing is the new high res Icon but maybe the one you used for the splash will work...

Hi, ...

I have try it, inside Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, 8 gig Ram.

It work, ...

But a crash error, with the option = "Graphics | Custom Background" if selected to "on". But no crash if selected to "off".

Do you have verify = the background graphics "directorys, links, paths" ?

It's a bug inside the game, also inside the portable game.

Hi, ...

It's a bug inside the game, also inside the portable game.

I have try the not portable version, and it made the same bug, then i have send a forum crash bug message, to the original programmors.

To (Simeon) = Then it's not your fault, ... (Even the not portable version, have that bug).

I know

its not my fault. And I saw your post there. Its would have been nicer to start a new thread for a new issue...

Found it

No Bug, you just have to put your custom bmp into the right place!
quoting from the 3.7 release notes:

2. You can have custom backgrounds! On the Graphic menu under Options, turn on
Custom Background. Then save a bitmap of your choice in the Atanks config folder.
The config folder is where you can find the "atanks-config" file. The folder is
usually called ".atanks".
The image should be in bitmap (.bmp) format and it'll help if the bitmap is
the same size of your Atanks reolution. By default this is 800x600.

So just put your background.bmp into AtomicTanksPortable\Data\settings\.atanks and it will work. I just tried it.

I'll put a note about this into the main page.
