No

I don't do RCs of OO. Only finals. It's a huge app and takes an hour to upload. Plus, it can be installed side-by-side with your current local version, so there's no reason to make a portable version of it. (Unlike Firefox, for instance, which I do make RCs available... primarily so people can test 2.0 side by side with 1.5) Keep in mind that an RC, while it's supposed to be final bits, is still a test release and not meant for production/everyday use.

So, in essence, a portable version of OO RCs isn't a really good use of limited development time, since it would detract from other app work that would be of use to lots of people.

If you really want to carry it around, just install it locally and then copy all the files to your OpenOfficePortable\App\openoffice directory.

It's not on the

It's not on the OpenOffice.org homepage? I think I trust that more than other sites, no matter what the site is.

I understand your point of

I understand your point of view, but let me assure you, that the computerbase site is a trustworthy and reliable one. They are usually very fast on publishing links to new software releases...

Nope

I only download from the official site for packaging of all apps. No other sources are acceptable.

I'll also be doing a pre-release of 2.0.4 before releasing the final one as I'm adding some more new features to the launcher.

Update: It hit the official P2P download. It's still listed as scheduled for Oct 12th, so they're probably gonna let it hit all the mirrors for a while before announcing it.

OOo 2.0.4 is final, but not fully localized

You are right, the mirrors are not distributed yet, but the official P2P download page already has the english, german, french and dutch versions for Windows:
