When I enter in TB2 I obtain this error message, but I can continue with additional problems.

How can I take off this error message ?

Other subsequent errors are concerning :

inbox.msf
the mails enter to wrong folders. Filter seems not apply.
TypeError: str has no properties.

Best Regards

Upgrade to Thunderbird

Upgrade to Thunderbird Portable 3 and see if you're still having the problem.

Yes I do.
The version 3 is a headache for me. I have to return to TB2.

What's the meaning of this error.
I prefer solve inside version 2 and try later to upgrade. I have a lot of problems with my profile.

I have installed TB2 in a data disk. How can I reinstall preserving all my data ?

You're probably running an antivirus software with heuristics enabled (which never really work right) and it is blocking the launcher's ability to use the registry plugin to access the registry.

I think that's not the

I think that's not the reason. Because I have the same antivirus time ago without any problem and besides I am doing now intensive proofs and i obtain an error of this type because of this ini file :

Where :
Y:\Portables\nave\ThunderbirdPortable\ThunderbirdPortable.ini
content :

[ThunderbirdPortable]
ThunderbirdDirectory=App\thunderbird
# ThunderbirdExecutable=thunderbird.exe
ThunderbirdExecutable=ThunderbirdPortable.exe
AdditionalParameters=
GPGPathDirectory=App\gpg
ProfileDirectory=Data\profile
PluginsDirectory=Data\plugins
RegistryDirectory=Data\registry
SettingsDirectory=Data\settings
GPGHomeDirectory=Data\gpg
# DisableSplashScreen=false
DisableSplashScreen=true
# AllowMultipleInstances=false
AllowMultipleInstances=true
DisableIntelligentStart=false
SkipChromeFix=false
SkipCompregFix=false
RunLocally=false

# en fecha 10.01.2009 copié este archivo desde Y:\PORTABLES\Navegadores . Internet . Correo\ThunderbirdPortable\Other\Source
# a la ubicación : Y:\PORTABLES\Navegadores . Internet . Correo\ThunderbirdPortable para desactivar la splash screen
# The above options are explained in the included readme.txt
# This INI file is an example only and is not used unless it is placed as described in the included readme.txt

The additional problem is because usually the technicians recommend to create a new profile, but in TB portable there is only one, though I have read is possible create one manipulating.

Best Regards.

I am trying to reconstruct reinstalling again and making proofs with the data.

There is not a list of errors from Thunderbird ?

Bad Line

This line is wrong: ThunderbirdExecutable=ThunderbirdPortable.exe
It should be set to thunderbird's exe, not thunderbird portable's. And it should be thunderbird.exe.

With that fixed, it starts just fine from a path of X:\Portables\nave\ThunderbirdPortable\
