Please excuse me if I am in the wrong forum or if this is just a terribly noobish question.
I dl'd photshop CS5 expanded version, with the repousse options, and additional plugins.
The program dl'd succesfully, but am having some trouble accessing the repousse options. Succumbs to graphic card errors. I have checked the settings: Edit/prefferences/performance, and the "open GL Drawing claims to be on and video card detected.
Also and my main concern, since the app is technically not "installed", what is the best way to remove this program and its files? It is dl'd to my desktop. I basically wanted to test the program before buying, and wanted the full version rather than a trial.
I'm new to the whole operations of computers, but have been learning alot lately. Unfortunately I have been learning mostly due to my actions and hastiness in dl'ing programs and not being exactly sure what I am getting or doing! lol
Thank you all for all responses and help, you will be saving me alot of time and frustration. George.
Welcome to PortableApps.com
First it must be made clear that the app you are referring to is NOT one of OURS, so any advice I give you may not apply as we don't know about it.
If the app is in a true PortableAppsFormat, all you would need to do is delete the entire app directory.
If not, you need to consult with the folks who created that app.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
Some people refer to any app installed to a USB drive as being "portable", there is much more to being "portable" than simply being loaded to a removable drive. If this is the type of portable app you loaded to your hard drive it may leave Registry entries and other assorted pieces on your hard drive.
A properly installed PortableApp app will leave nothing behind when it is deleted.
