Release Notes
WinEyes 1.1
June 24, 2010: Initial Release

WinEyes 1.0
June 22, 2010: Fixed typo in appinfo.ini
June 21, 2010: Initial Release

Other Notes
You can install both versions into the same folder without having problems. 1.0 will still be called WinEyesPortable, but 1.1 will be called WinEyesPortableAlt (for "alternate").

The original apps don't save settings so I couldn't make it save settings in the PAF'd version either. Sorry Sad

For 1.0 you add themes (.eye) files into your Data\settings folder and they'll be copied over so you can easily switch between themes. 1.1 doesn't have that functionality. 1.1 does, however allow you to resize the eyes.

Enjoy!

I was really hoping this would work

because I had something similar on my Amiga many years ago. and I have it on my Ubuntu now. it's completely useless but very cute.

I was in my Window2000 when I downloaded. didn't work.

then i booted into XP. still didn't work.

wah

haven't tried 7 yet

that is very strange

normally, I can fix the problem immediately, but I can't find one. (I'm trying to get in the habit of painstakingly testing my apps like 5 times before releasing them Blum )

I deleted the version I had, installed it again, and re-ran it. No problems, everything was working great.

has anyone else experienced this problem?

ah, shoot

thats why!

I was testing it by double clicking directly! The menu (I think) is using that to launch the app.

Cecelia, try double clicking on the EXE, see if that works.

Sorry about that again, you guys Sad

I'll try to find some

I think that softpedia was supposed to have them, but the links to them are missing.

WinEyes 1.1 Portable Released

See Release Notes and Other Notes for more info.

Oh, and check out the screenshot. I called John up and asked if I could get a picture with him. As you can see in the 1.0 screenshot, he seemed quite excited. Blum

hmmm

I was thinking either utilities or games but I decided utilities because you can't really "play" and "beat" WinEyes like you can play and beat a game. But now I'm not so sure about utilities because it doesn't really *do* anything. it just looks at your cursor, then it looks at you.

But this new category... I'm not sure it will exactly "take off" Blum
