Downloaded current version several times an am unable to install. Each download reports "Damaged Content". Other downloads do not have that problem.

did you download it from the same source/mirror?
Sourceforge (where we host most of our apps) has different mirrors and one connection might be bad or so and thats why you get a broken copy.
Oh and try clearing your cache as you might have downloaded it from your cache and not from the actual page.
