Hi Volks,
i want to use FTPWanderer as an potable app. You can download it here:
http://www.pablosoftwaresolutions.com/files/ftpwanderer3.zip
It uses some Reg-Entries for Autoconnect by startup the Programm and to save Windows-Size, Positon ans so on:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pablo Software Solutions
Thats a little bit worry, cause i want to use it on different devices without new configuration the otions. I tryed using jauntPE to make a portable app but my know how about it is too small.
And the result wasnt very adequate.
Maby anybody can portalize this app, please?
best Regards
Mike
There is really no need to do that, as you can get FileZilla portable which is better than FTPWanderer.
I encourage you to try FileZilla, which you can get from the official releases page.
If you try it and decide you do not like it, leave a message on this thread and I will see what I can do.

Hi Shane,
thank you for answering. And you are right. I am using Filezilla too and i like it very much.... But there's on handicap: I can't find a autologin-option to a FTP account by startup FileZilla. FTPWanderer just can do this.
I have further played around with jauntPE and now, i've done it to create a portable FTPWanderer-app without using the Windows-registry
Thank you very much for your offer to help.
Mike
You can use Filezilla's Command-Line arguments to specify a site to connect to.
I just tested this and it works fine. I created a new shortcut in my menu program, with an entry for parameters of:
-c 0/<name of Site Manager entry>
and it works without any problems. The "-c" says use a Site Manager entry, and the zero means it's a custom entry, then just put the name of the entry. I believe you can also specify an FTP directly via the command-line without the need for there to be a Site Manager entry. The link above documents all possible command-line parameters.
Wow, cool!
Thank you very much. This will be very helpfull to me!!! So i can further use Filezilla!
