What if Firefox crashes and you click on "restart firefox" - does it restart portable.
And if it doesn't, has this screwed something up for the install?
I just click'ed restart by mistake, now i wonder if it might have screwed up the install.

It's safe to do that with Firefox. After the first copy of Firefox closes, the launcher puts in a delay of a few seconds before checking to see if it's "still running", so that it catches it if it restarts.

Wait, why not detect if the crash handler is still running instead?
Wouldn't it screw up the install if we waited an hour to press the restart button instead?
If I recall correctly, the crash reporter actually keeps firefox.exe running until its window is closed.
