Hi, I just installed on my memory stick, and ran Clamwin. It asked to update the virus datatabse, however, the update failed.
Is there a specific way to update the portable ClamWin database? Here's the failure pasted below...

That usually means the ClamWin update servers are temporarily offline. Or you're being blocked (possibly by a proxy or corporate firewall). Just try again a bit later.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
