Tried StartKey, Unimpressed, 3/5

Well, I got the StartKey, and it really sucks

StartKey is MojoPac?
The website I downloaded it from said it was startkey, but then the installer was called 'MojoPac Installer'. I thought maybe it was like an InstallShield Wizard thing, but called MojoPac. Well, when I ran the program, it identified itself as MojoPac, not StartKey, so IDK WTF is wrong with the name.

Experience
When I first found out about StartKey, it sounded really cool. Their website was all flashy (literally) and it had a nice animation. So I downloaded it, and tried to install it at home. All went well until I ran it for the first time. I had to register on their website. But I have no internet at home, so it freaked out and told me I needed internet to install it.

So I took my drive to school and tried to run it, and get the registration part over with at school. Well, bad idea. It turns out that I needed administrative rights to run it.

Seriously?

So I had to go to the library, and I finally got around to registering and trying it out. It sucks. I tried to run it at the library (which uses a filter, by the way) and it worked. I thought, hmmm, since it keeps its settings on the drive, maybe it also uses a different setting to connect to the internet.

And well, usually when I start IE from the library PC, it asks to enter a username and password. This time though, when I ran it, it didn't. I was like 'whoa!, this might come in handy' so I tried to go to google.com and it loaded. But then IE crashed. I tried again. The homepage came up, then I go to google and it crashed.

Wow.

So I decided to take some screenshots and talk about my experience.

Images look ugly
Well, they do. I personally like flashy stuff (like PAM and Vista and stuff like that). I don't know if its my color settings or what, but all the images were pixel-y or weird or something. They're not all nice and smooth like PA's or just about every other decent program online. Thumbs down on that.

Final Rating
I give it a 3 out of 5 because it does what it says its supposed to do. I didn't make it higher because it ain't really portable (it requires admin rights to install/run) and its ugly.

Screenshot
I know your all eager to see them, so here they are:
This is what it looks like on startup.

This is what your computer will look like when you "switch to host" Although you can hide the bar.

Not StartKey

StartKey was nothing like that. Microsoft wouldn't have taken MojoPac and used that - they were working on their own infinitely superior thing which would require a patch to the local machine. And as far as I can tell, the status of StartKey is still entirely unknown - generally believed abandoned. There's been no news about it this year at all. What was this thing that you got? Whatever it was, it wasn't StartKey.

That's Not Startkey

That's not startkey. That's just Mojopac, which is basically discontinued and doesn't work on Vista, Windows 7 or XP x64. From what I've heard in the industry, Startkey is dead. But don't quote me on that.

It's Mojoac

It is definitely Mojopac (old version), the latest being Mojopac Pro 2.0. And don't waste time on this crap, no support and no contact (I paid for 2 licenses and now they are "dead", move to more expensive V-Desk which is very similar to VMware Thinapps)

@everyone

I googled "StartKey" and I read about it, and it said "go to the StartKey homepage" or something. So I clicked on it and it took me to what I stupidly thought was StartKey.

Ah well. It was fun to try it.
