Hi,
I downloaded Poodle and created some quizzes for offline use in a computer lab.
When I copied Poodle into the local harddisks in the lab PCs, and ran my Moodle quiz, I found that I could not see my audio or video files (audio was mp3 and video was flv formats, respectively)
When I was creating these quizzes on my own PC, I could view these files and there were NO ISSUES viewing, listening and playing them back.
This only occurred when I transferred the whole Thumbdrive Poodle data into another PC.
In fact, I also tried running Poodle directly from my Thumbdrive when plugged into the lab PCs but all audio and video files could not be seen.
I understand Poodle to be "stand alone" and can run off the Thumbdrive. Some questions I have are:
1. Why did the mp3(audio) and flv(video) files work (and can be viewed in the quiz) when on my computer and not on another computer?
2. Are there plugins I have to install still into Poodle?
I need your expertise in this!
Thank you!
Khew
I don't think Poodle is one of the PA apps, doing a quick search I can only find references talking about Moodle, but no actual releases here.
You are better off asking on the official site's support page:
http://moodle.org/support/
Have you tried looking for help at Poodle's website?
http://www.maflt.org/products/poodle
(Poodle (Portable Moodle) is a software tool designed to allow for the delivery of Moodle content offline)
I apologise for this "out of topic" thread.
I must have gotten confused that I downloaded Poodle here when I assumed Portable Apps included Moodle. Didn't realize that I downloaded Poodle (Portable App + Moodle) in the above mentioned URL!
Sorry again.
